Privacy Policy

1. Scope
Ominus is a local command-line tool. It runs on the user’s own machine and does not operate any centralized service that stores personal data about end users.
2. Data we process
- API credentials (OpenAI, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Pexels, Pixabay, TikTok, YouTube) are read from a local
.envfile and used only to call the respective provider. They are never transmitted to us. - Generated content (scripts, audio, video, captions, metadata) is stored locally under
outputs/on the user’s machine. - TikTok account data accessed via OAuth is limited to the scopes required to publish videos initiated by the user. We do not read followers, messages, analytics or any audience data beyond what is strictly required for the publish operation.
3. Data we do not collect
- We do not run analytics, telemetry or tracking.
- We do not sell or share user data.
- We do not use user content to train models.
4. Third-party providers
When the user invokes a command that calls a third-party API, the relevant inputs (such as a script for TTS, or a video file for upload) are transmitted to that provider under their own privacy policy.
5. Retention and deletion
Outputs and credentials live on the user’s machine. The user can delete them at any time by removing the outputs/ directory and the .env file. To revoke TikTok or YouTube access, revoke the OAuth grant in the respective platform’s account settings.
6. Children
Ominus is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly process their data.
